The Lenovo IdeaPad Z510 is a 15.6-inch laptop computer. Produced by Lenovo, the IdeaPad is a line of consumer-oriented laptops first introduced in January 2008. Unlike the business-oriented ThinkPad, the IdeaPad was designed towards a consumer look and feel with changes such as a glossy screen and the removal of the TrackPoint, the ThinkPad’s distinctive feature.
The Lenovo IdeaPad Z510 model was sold with a 15.6-inch Full HD (with a resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels) or a 15.6-inch HD display (with a resolution of 1366 by 768 pixels). The computer was sold with one of four 4th-Generation Intel Celeron or Intel Core processor options. It runs on the Windows 8 operating system and features an Intel HD Graphics card. The laptop features Bluetooth 4.0 capabilities. The Lenovo IdeaPad Z510 is sold with 8 GB of RAM and a hard-disk drive (HDD) of up to 1 TB.
The Lenovo IdeaPad Z510 includes two USB 3.0 ports, one USB 2.0 port, an HDMI port, a two-in-one SD/MMC card reader, an RJ45 port, and a combination microphone/headphone jack. The computer also features a backlit AccuType keyboard. The Z510 model is designed with a 1-inch slender profile and a “dark chocolate”-colored body. This computer also features dual JBL-designed speakers with Dolby Home Theater v4 for increased audio clarity and maximized volume output.
