Introduction

    • flip the speaker over onto its back, then open the rubber covering the battery.

    • unscrew the battery using your screwdriver. carefully disconnect the battery from the motherboard.

    • be very careful not to damage the connector.

    • when replacing the battery, re apply the adhesive strip.

    • leave the battery aside.

    • carefully using a spludger, pry up the rubber holding the grills in place. then pry off the grill.

    • Be very careful with the grill as they bend easily.

    • using your spludger, carefully disconnect the ribbon cable connecting to the motherboard.

    • be very careful not to damage the connector.

    • carefully remove the charging port assembly.

    • be VERY careful not to damage disconnecting the ribbon cable from the connector.

    • carefully pull out the charging port assembly.

    • be Extremely careful when attaching the new port to the assembly.

    • when replacing the port assembly, add the adhesive under the port.
