Introduction

After using this guide you will learn how to replace the blades in your blender. You will need to use basic tools to complete this guide.

Slip Joint Pliers

Step 1

Remove the lid from the container by holding the base and pulling up on the lid.

Step 2

Remove the container from the blender.
Hold the blender and the container, then twist the container in a clockwise motion.
Make sure to follow the lock and unlock markings on the container.

Step 3

Avoid placing your fingers on the blade, as they could be sharp.
Using a pair of pliers to hold the blade in place, use your other hand to unscrew the rubber piece on the bottom of the container.
Remove the rubber piece and the two washers by rotating the rubber piece counter-clockwise.

Step 4

Carefully, pull the blades out of the container as they are very sharp.
Using the pliers, remove blades and the washer around the blade shaft.

In my blender, the whole blade assembly, including the base where the blade sits, got dislodged. This makes the content leaks to the bottom like a water falls. How to repair it?
