Introduction

This guide will show you the steps to remove the folding hinges at the bast of the headband.

    • Remove the two screws on the underside of the headband with the PH0 Phillips screw driver.

    • With the headband fully extended, hold the base of the headband with one hand and with your other hand, hold the top of the headband.

    • With force, pull upwards.

    • Remove the rail-piece that is now sticking up by pulling it up and out of the headphone.

    • Repeat on the opposite side and the headband will be released.

    • During reassembly, make the sure the rail-pieces match their respective sides so the headband reinserts properly.

    • While holding the base of the headband with one hand, hold the ear cup with the other hand.

    • Pull them apart to reveal the screw.

    • While apart, remove the screw from the headphone.

    • Loosen the plastic cover piece that protects the chrome folding hinge.

    • Remove the plastic cover piece.

    • During reassembly, make sure the plastic covering piece hooks onto the base of the chrome hinge before screwing it back in.

    • Holding the ear cup with one hand, pull up on the base of the headband with the other hand to release the folding hinge.

    • Repeat for the opposite side if necessary.
