Das Wetter (the weather)

If you want to ask someone what's the weather like in Berlin, you ask:

"Wie ist das Wetter in Berlin?"
"Wie ist denn das Wetter in Berlin?"
"Wie ist das Wetter denn in Berlin?"

The person that you asked will maybe give you these answers:

In "Es regnet in Strömen" the person could also say "Es schüttet in Strömen"
In some regions like Bochum they say "Es schnieselt" for "It's snowing a little bit".

-But it's more usual to say "Es ist ein leichter Schneefall"

Temperature

If you want to say how the temperature is, you say:

Es ist heiß	It's hot	die Hitze

Es sind minus 10 Grad (Celsius)*	It's about -10°C	-

You can also say:

Es sind 10 Grad minus
Es sind 10 Grad im Minusbereich (<- unusual)

For °F you can say:

Es sind 60 Grad Fahrenheit

On the TV you can see also the weather forecast. Here are the denonations for the words:
