The Next Goa Legislative Assembly election is speculated to be held on or before March-April 2027 to elect all 40 members of the state's Legislative Assembly.
Background
The tenure of Goa Legislative Assembly is scheduled to end on February 2027.[1] The previous assembly elections were held in March 2022 to elect the members of the 8th Goa Legislative Assembly. After the election, a coalition of Bharatiya Janata Party, Goa Forward Party and Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party formed the state government, with Pramod Sawant becoming the Chief Minister.
