Nea Malgara (Greek: Νέα Μάλγαρα) is a village and a community of the Delta municipality.[2] Before the 2011 local government reform it was part of the municipality of Axios, of which it was a municipal district.[2] The 2011 census recorded 2,404 inhabitants in the village.[1] The community of Nea Malgara covers an area of 42.22 km2.[3]
