Solfjellsjøen or Solfjellsjyen is the administrative centre of the municipality of Dønna in Nordland county, Norway. The village is located on the west-central part of the island of Dønna. Nordvik Church is located about 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) north of the village. There is a ferry connection from Solfjellsjøen to the nearby island of Vandve to the west.[3]
The 0.3-square-kilometre (74-acre) village has a population (2018) of 281 and a population density of 937 inhabitants per square kilometre (2,430/sq mi).[1]
Solfjellsjøen is also the home of the politician Odd-Harald Vistnes Forsland.
